Aspiring Singer

Because of his success with the talent contest, Delich helped Michael create his first independent CD. Meanwhile, Santanga offered free plumbing service to anyone who could provide career opportunities for his grandson, and Michael became a regular appearance at local music venues. In 1996, Michael landed a role in the Vancouver run of the musical Red Rock Diner as Elvis, where he caught the eye of a fellow dancer and singer named Debbie Tismuss. Two years later, the couple moved to Toronto to join in the production of a big band effort called Forever Swing (1998).
